My table mates were almost finished with their meals by the time I received mine. I had ordered a skillet dinner and it was still sizzling, much to hot to eat. I never received the tortillas I ordered. When I sent my food back to be replaced so it would cool enough to eat, they kept the bread that they sent instead of the tortillas I had ordered
I have to say I was a little put off today during my visit. We were seated in a booth where we had view of the wait station pick up area. There was a young man mopping the floor and while he was taking his time he appeared to be doing a good job but apparently the manager did not think so. He came over took the mop away and the young man looked stunned. As he was walking away the manager remarked to no one in particular but loud enough for everyone including me to hear he was going to fire the young man. I was certainly not expecting to hear this but what was even more shocking was the fact the manGer was wearing a pistol on his hip. Needless to say I did not get a warm and fuzzy feeling about that. I don't think I will ever go back because of the fact the manager is carrying openly. Poor judgement in two areas in my opinion. Very poor judgment. I feel bad for the young man as well.

The Denny's in Tyler and Terrell, TX are wonderful. Friendly, helpful, efficient staff and good cooks. Places are clean and cozy. Food is delicious and comforting, steak and eggs and buttermilk pancakes are my favorites. They keep the coffee coming. I also like that they'll let you make substitutions. One of our favorite places to eat.
