This past Saturday was the most humiliating day of my life! I was approached by the manager on duty as someone who should not have been in the store. Apparently, I looked like a shoplifter that was previously in the store a few days ago and had come back on that day. Unfortunately, the timing could not have been worse. I was politely asked to leave and when I questioned the reason I was reassured that I was the shoplifter. After about a minute, it became apparent that a mistake had been made against me. The manager and eventually upper management apologized to me over and over about the mistaken identity. They offered an additional discount on my purchases which I accepted. It was the least they could do because they could not replace the humiliation. I do plan on contacting the corporate offices because there was an obvious breakdown in communication and not an accurate following of policy/protocol when it involves theft. Oh yeah, I’m a black man coming to spend my hard earned money at their business and since the real shoplifter was also a black man, I guess they/someone felt as if we all look alike.

Got some great kicks and a few shirts for a fair price might come back more often just to pick up a few more shirts
