We arrived excited and ready to be scared, we tried buying our tickets and it turned out we had a fake 100 dollar bill, we apologized for not knowing and we went ahead and paid our tickets with other money. As we were walking towards the entrance the police officer pulled my husband to the side and asked him for his ID and what not. They even had the sheriff drive out there at midnight, which he has not too happy with. Some of the employees were nice most of them were just like the officers, laughing and hoping they could get us arrested somehow. They all continued to make smart remarks. It was by far the worse experience EVER! We were humiliated and profiled. I hope nothing like this ever happens to anyone else.

Absolutely a waste!! This place has taken a major dive in the past year! Predictable actors around every turn. Where has all of your staff gone to? No magic show.. the new stage is a joke! We were rushed through the house as fast as they could..the girl was rude that was at the front. Seriously saying “boo” to try to scare someone! This place use to be the best in the Metroplex but now it’s the worst. Verdun Manor was the biggest disappointment, poorly ran..you had actors trying way to hard.. screaming in your face is not the way to scare someone. There was some “manager guy” that was talking to an employee in plain sight that wrecked the surprise scare! I heard another employee asking for water to someone else. The whole atmosphere was horrible. This was supposed to be the Famous Verdun Manor from The Travel Channel.. they need to update it to worst attraction in the park. Here is your “Boo” for this one! On to the Clown House.. an improvement from the house, which I think I was more scared from the port a potty then I was of the house. I think the clowns were great! They made me laugh and actually made my Wife jump. Then off to the Trail. That was by far the best part of our night. The actors from the house need to take lessons from these guys and gals! The house that had the guy that would pop out in your face, I will remember him. Unfortunately the reason why I gave it a one Star is because of my experience with Verdun. I have been coming to Thrillvania for the past 10 years. I have seen it go through many changes.. I miss the actors you had out front, the multiple things to do from Granny’s house to the one on the hill. It seems like 2 years ago I was told by management that they were going to rebuild and make it better.. it seems they are raising prices and taking away attractions. What happened Thrillvania? Where did the “Thrill” go? Maybe it went away just like most of your good actors did! How about you focus on bringing back the scare factor and training your employees and actors to what it use to be like. I was saving this haunted house for last this year to top off my fix, I went to Screams, Cutting Edge and Dark Hour along with Six Flags prior to here and I am upset that I paid what I did for tickets and parking. You may want to take the next year to find out what went wrong and get the people back that use to make it great. Mainly Verdun...that’s the poison that’s killing your business!

Besides the fact that it was completely empty, no Halloween atmosphere, very poorly staffed.

It's been a while since.my husband and I got to have a date night, we.decided to go out last night. only to be held at the entrance for over an hour, by the police and staff. They were hoping they could find something on us, they were trying they're hardest to get my husband arrested.

It was really fun but short. I thought there would be more vendors or other attractions but there weren't. And you can only go through each house once. The spooky trail leading out to the parking lot was the best part I thought! But overall I had fun with my family

Absolutely wonderful and definitely scary experience. Very well organized, safe and a great event for couples and groups of friends. Worth every penny, friendly staff and excellent actors. Will be back every year. Highly recommended.

We went last night 10-14-17 and I have to say I was pretty disappointed..... why did you take out the walk before going into the manor? That got you hyped for the house. They send so many people together at once that the back half sees what happens to the front half and it takes the scare factor out(ruins it)... it could possibly be good for young kids but I believe there’s a lot of work to be done here.... you’ve raised the price plus the 10.00 parking and lowered the quality
